CAROLINA YOUTH LACROSSE CLUB

3rd-4th Grade

SPRING 2021 LEAGUE INFORMATION
3rd-4th grade plays 7 v 7 and 10 v 10 on a modified field. This format allows for players to “touch” the ball more and always be part of the action.  It is the premier format of youth lacrosse today. In addition, 3rd-4th grade will also play full field 10 v 10 games.  Since the game is growing so rapidly, we feel it is important to incorporate this format at this age as well.

Team Size: 18-20 players

Dates:  March - May TBD

Cost (3rd-4th): $225.00 includes uniform

Practices: Twice per week at MWC Sports Complex, 941 US - 1, Youngsville, NC 27596

Games:  Games are played at various locations (including Harris Creek, Wake Forest middle and MWC Sports) but mostly in the Triangle Area

Denny was born and raised in western New York where he was involved in various sports while growing up. During high school, he played box lacrosse on the Native American reservation and quickly developed a passion for the sport.
After graduating from high school in 2002, Denny enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for 4 1/2 years and had three tours overseas, two of which were combat tours. Denny moved to the Raleigh, North Carolina area in 2007 and began working for an engineering firm that he still works for today. Denny has been married to his wife, Laura, for almost 10 years and together they have 3 sons. Their two oldest sons are proud members of CYLC Frogs teams.
Denny has been assisting or coaching with the K-2 and 3-4 CYLC Frogs since fall of 2016. Helping players develop a love of the game, become stronger and more skilled players, and learning discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork are just a few of Denny's passions while working with CYLC players.
